This place is very different delicious and outstandingly good they specialize in what seems to be soups Caldos menudo possole..... Great place to Eat tortillas seem to be made fresh on the Spot.
The service was excellent! It was a great quaint gem. The food was very good! I got the Pollo Green Enchilada and it was fantastic! I plan on returning to try more of the menu. Everyone was warm and welcoming! The dining room was nice and it was updated while still keeping the Mexican charm! I would very much recommend!!!
Happy I found this lil restaurant. My wife and I saw it while driving by and decided to stop. I looked up the pictures and it looked authentic. We got the Tinga sope, ceviche tostada and El pastor tacos. I'm picky about El pastor tacos but these tacos were amazing! Juicy and flavorful. The sope is huge and I could not finish it. The tostada was delicious as well. I really loved that they serve menudo and pozole every day, usually restaurants only serve these options on the weekend. Can't wait to go back and try those as well as breakfast. 9/30/23 Dined in by myself. Had the chilaquiles verdes and an agua fresca de Pepino. I like the salsas they give you with your meal and everything tastes delicious.

Found this restaurant while driving around and this place is small but the food is delicious. Had me a breakfast burro and they put beans inside the burro and that just made it so much better. Server was nice and quick. Atmosphere was chill not loud at all. Def will be coming back.
Newly found favorite!!! Everything was fresh and authentic! Felt like grandma was in the back whipping it up! We tried a little bit of everything: huevos rancheros, chille relleno, posole, and quesa-birria. Everything from the food to the cafe de olla and corn/ flour tortillas and salsas are made from scratch. Servers were also very nice and attentive :)
The food here is always fresh and delicious! This is our family's favorite dinner. You can order anything and it will be of the very best quality. Even our youngest child is happy to be here and she ate all of her breakfast. (She never does that at McDonald's ) The staff are extremely friendly and kind. They make everyone feel welcome and are very accommodating. The cooks are great and make every meal with love. I hope you try El Jacal with your loved ones also!
